Sculpture titled Portrait in Yellow

Objects

I am an object maker. I think of objects not as things to be looked at briefly, but as things meant to be lived with. My work exists in the space between sculpture and daily life, where form, use, and presence overlap.

These objects are primarily sculptural, but they are shaped by an awareness of the body, habit, and time. I am interested in how an object holds memory, how it wears, and how it becomes familiar through repeated contact. Rather than remaining static, the work is meant to age, shift, and participate in everyday rhythms.

I work across a range of materials, including metal, fiber, ceramics, and found objects. Material choice is guided by both physical properties and emotional resonance. Each material carries its own history and expectations, which I use to inform how an object is made and how it might be encountered.

Through this practice, I aim to create objects that invite attention, care, and long term relationship, objects that quietly embed themselves into lived space.
